ISAPS Congress San Francisco 18/09/2010

Live surgery day at Springfield Hospital 18th September 2010. The day was well attended with over 50 surgeons present, the surgery performed on the day was Breast augmentations, Breast lift and an introduction to the iGuide chin lift. The surgeons pictured above who performed the surgery were from left to right Paul Levick, Simon Myers, Professor James Frame and David Smith from Florida. The day was a great success and more are planned for next year.

ISAPS 20th Congress San Francisco

One of the big advantages of been a UKAAPS member is the ISAPS membership that all members achieve. The scientific papers presented at the recent 20th Congress of ISAPS in San Francisco were world leading with videos and 131 electronic papers with scientific sessions packed into 8 half days. These events are extremely important for the continued education and transfer of knowledge from world leaders within Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

iGuide Trampoline Lift Training Day 29/01/2011

The recent iGuide trampoline lift training day at Chelmsford medical centre was a huge success with over 50 UKAAPS members present to see and be trained by Dr Greg Mueller the founder and inventor of this revolutionary non invasive procedure. Dr Mueller treated 4 patients and presented his scientific and patient studies to the engrossed audience. The event has been followed by a double page spread in the Daily Mail today which has resulted in a mass of patients calling to find out where they can have the procedure performed.

The event was organised by Peter Cranstone from Euro surgical who are the UK distributors of the iGuide Trampoline lift in partnership with UKAAPS and Anglia Ruskin University PMI (Postgraduate Medical Institute). Dr Mueller was present on the day with Norman Black CEO of Black and Black surgical the global distributor of the product. Most of the surgeons on the day were excited about the possibility of performing the trampoline lift many of which already had patients interested in having the procedure.
