Research Activity I have been in post since February of 2006, and previously in a full-time clinical post with significant service commitments. My present post is a HEFCE funded TR post. I have concentrated on a bid to The Healing Foundation to establish a basic science chair in burn care, and on delivering a distance learning post-graduate diploma in aesthetic surgery. My previous research interests lay in keratinocyte biology, and wound healing, particularly in relation to burn care. My present intention is to extend this to infection and immunity in relation to burn care, along the lines of the healing foundation bid.
